Mike Elliott

After a 23 year career in the fast paced world of F1, contributing to 8 Constructors and 8 Driver World Championships along the way, I decided to take a break.  This has given me some time to focus my energy on another passion, wildlife and nature photography.
I have been a 'photographer' since I bought my first DSLR to photograph the kids, back in 2006.  I cringe looking back at some of those early images but thankfully I have improved since then.  I now concentrate mainly on wildlife photography.  Similar to F1, there is always something new to learn, either technically, artistically or in animal behaviours, that contribute to producing better images.  The challenge of this, along with a love of the natural world, is why I am passionate about wildlife photography.
I can be found out in all weathers, searching for wildlife, sitting and waiting in a hide, or even chest deep in a floating hide.  Recently, I have started exploring the world of camera trapping and hope to have some work from this to share soon.
I hope you enjoy the images in this portfolio!
